In 2022, I had the opportunity to work with Professor Catherine Meads and Dr Susan Walker to create an animated explainer based on their report: LGBTQ+ Health Education and Training Research Report to Dr Michael Brady, National Advisor for LGBT Health at NHS England, October 2022.

The video raises awareness around LGBTQ+ health training and explains why and how this issue needs to be addressed. It was created for a general healthcare audience and aims to get people to explore further information and ultimately start to consider changing their current approach.

I lead and worked on every stage of this project incl. illustrating, animating, visual development, concept pitch, script writing, audio and editing. I collaborated with Sonya Mead to develop the visuals and create the character design seen in this video.
